Here is a very nice specimen of Hunanolenus genalatus from the Cambrian of China. It is unusual to find this trilobite with the free cheeks intact - most of the time they are missing. This wonderfully articulated specimen has both free cheeks present and exhibits fine detail. The crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen and the long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed. The trilobite is well presented on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a very detailed example of Hunanolenus from China.
