This is a very rare US trilobite. It is an Isoteloides flexus from the Ordovician of Utah. The trilobite is unusually well-preserved and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached. This specimen is extremely prone and exhibits superb detail. The small, protruding eyes are beautifully displayed, and the thin genal spines are wonderfully intact. The trilobite has great color and contrast and is nicely presented on the natural plate of matrix. This is an excellent specimen of this highly uncommon trilobite from the Fillmore Formation.
