Here is a very good Metacanthina barrandei from the Devonian of Morocco. This bug is complete and nicely articulated. The long genal spines are easily seen, and the lappets of the pygidium are clearly defined. Most of the individual lenses of the large compound eyes are present. The fossil has nice color and contrast and is well positioned on the plate of dense limestone. This is a very affordable example of Metacanthina from Morocco.
