Here is a very nice specimen of Bolaspidella housensis from the Cambrian of Utah. This complete trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The small eyes of this bug are easily seen and the flaring genal spines are quite evident. The individual thoracic segments are clearly defined and even the tiny pygidium is intact. The black trilobite contrasts nicely with the gray matrix. It is well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a great specimen of Bolaspidella from the Wheeler Shale.
