Here is a very interesting European trilobite. This is Ogyginus corndensis from the Ordovician of Wales. This trilobite is well-preserved in an outstretched position. It is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. The eyes of the trilobite are easily seen, and even the genal spines are intact. The bug has good color and contrast and is presented on the somewhat squared block of matrix. This is a nice specimen of Ogyginus from the Ordovician of Wales.
