Here is a wonderful example of Hunanolenus genalatus from the Cambrian of China. Both part and counterpart of this trilobite are present. Usually these trilobites are found with the free cheeks missing. This well-articulated specimen has both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The bug exhibits fine detail. The extremely long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the individual thoracic segments are easily seen. The trilobite has good color and contrast and is well presented on the somewhat squared plate of shale. This is a very nice specimen of Hunanolenus from China.
