This is a classic US Trilobite. It is a complete Isotelus maximus from near Cincinnati, Ohio. This type of trilobite is the official State Fossil of Ohio. The trilobite is nicely outstretched and very well articulated. The bug has both long genal spines intact, which is unusual. The trilobite displays beautifully on the natural matrix plate, which also contains Flexicalymene parts. This is a very collectible example of this famous Upper Ordovician trilobite from Ohio.
