This is a nice Sinespinaspis sp. from the Lower Silurian of Australia. Both the part and counterpart (not pictured) of this trilobite are present. Although the trilobite lacks free cheeks, the detail of the exoskeleton is amazing. This bug has several rows of fine pustules on the thoracic segments along with tiny pleural and pygidial spines. The fossil has very good color and contrast and is well centered on the rectangular plate of matrix. This is a fine example of this Odontopleurid trilobite.
