Here is an interesting multiple plate of Chinese trilobites. This is Yuepingia sp. from the Ordovician. This type has a wide cephalon with short, broad genal spines and a wide pygidial border. Both trilobites are somewhat inflated and show good detail. The genal spines are nicely displayed and the individual thoracic segments are well defined. The bluish-black bugs have good contrast with the matrix. They are both "traveling" in the same direction on the rectangular plate of limestone. This is a very good multiple specimen of Yuepingia.
