This is a fabulous spiny trilobite. It is a complete Koneprusia brutoni from Morocco. This specimen was microscopically prepared in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab, and the results are amazing. This trilobite is known for its many long, flowing spines. This specimen showcases the myriad of spines beautifully - it has been prepared with three rows of 25 long spines free-standing! The bug is very 3-D and is nicely centered on the sculpted matrix plate. This is definitely one of the best examples of Koneprusia brutoni that we have ever prepared. It is simply a museum quality specimen.
