Here is an unusual trilobite from the Cambrian of China. This bug is from the Changaspis layers but is much more uncommon and totally different in appearance. This ovoid trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The eyes are easily seen, and even the tiny pygidium is intact. The bug has very good color and contrast and is beautifully centered on the natural plate of shale. This is an excellent example of this Cambrian trilobite.
