This is a wonderful specimen of Cedaria minor from the Weeks Formation of Utah. This trilobite is beautifully preserved and exhibits superb detail. The outstretched bug is wonderfully articulated and quite inflated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The eyes are easily seen, and the short, pointed genal spines are clearly defined. The ancient arthropod has outstanding color and contrast and is well presented on the squared plate of limestone. This may not be the biggest Cedaria, but it would be extremely difficult to find a better one.
