Here is a "genuine" Cambropallas telesto from the Cambrian of Morocco. This type is one of the most faked or reconstructed trilobites from Morocco. Both part and counterpart of the trilobite are present and wonderfully intact. This large specimen of Cambropallas (over 6 inches) is quite 3-dimensional and beautifully articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The wide genal spines of the prone trilobite are beautifully displayed, and there are even small, distinct ridges on the middle lobe of the thorax. The mottled coloration of the trilobite is totally natural and quite striking. The arthropod is well centered on the rounded plate of matrix. This is a very displayable example of Cambropallas from Morocco.
