Here is a fine specimen of Piochaspis sellata from the Middle Cambrian of Nevada. This particular type of trilobite does not get very large. This specimen is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The outwardly flaring genal spines are nicely displayed, and the individual thoracic segments are well defined. The bug has good color and contrast and is well presented on the squared plate of multi-colored shale. This is a very ''crisp and clean'' example of Piochaspis sellata.
