Here is an Encrinurus-like trilobite that is now being called Coronocephalus rex. This specimen comes from the Lower Silurian of China. This inflated bug is almost perfectly prone and wonderfully articulated. The trilobite exhibits fine detail - the entire carapace is covered with large pustules, especially the cephalic area. This bug has beautiful orangish-brown coloration and contrasts nicely with the light-colored matrix. It is well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very pretty example of Coronocephalus from China.
