This is easily one of the most sought-after US trilobites. It is a complete Arctinurus boltoni from Middleport, New York. This specimen was found years ago and was left unexposed until now. It was then meticulously prepared here in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab under a microscope, and the results are obvious. The dark chocolate-brown shell ''skin'' is beautifully preserved and covered with small pimples and pustules. The bug is very well articulated and aesthetically outstretched. It is very inflated and 3-D for this type. There have only been a handful of Arctinurus ever found that are this beautifully preserved. It is an extremely collectible example of a Lichid trilobite that has been coveted by collectors for well over a hundred years.
