This is an outstretched example of Kainops raymondi from the Devonian of Oklahoma. Kainops differs from Paciphacops in having a larger number of eye facets. This trilobite is wonderfully inflated and well articulated. The compound eyes are easily seen, and the granulations on the large glabella are intact. The fossil has great color and contrast and is nicely presented on the natural block of matrix. This is a very fine specimen of Kainops raymondi from the Haragan Formation.
