Here is an Encrinurus-like trilobite that is now being called Coronocephalus rex. This trilobite comes from the Lower Silurian of China. This inflated bug is almost perfectly prone and well articulated. The trilobite exhibits extremely fine detail - the entire carapace is covered with large pustules, especially the cephalic area. This bug has outstanding color and contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. It is well centered on the natural plate of shale. This is a wonderful specimen of this pustulose trilobite from China.
