Here is a fine example of Brachyaspidion microps from the Cambrian of Utah. This type of trilobite has a somewhat rectangular cephalon with short genal spines, thirteen thoracic segments, and a small, rounded pygidium. This complete trilobite is nicely articulated and exhibits fine detail. The inflated bug has very good color and contrast and is well presented on the natural plate of shale. This is a great specimen of this Middle Cambrian trilobite.
