This is a very nice Olenellus sp. from the Lower Cambrian of Canada. This trilobite is extremely well preserved and wonderfully articulated. The fine detail of the trilobite is quite evident. The crescent-shaped eyes are intact and the genal spines are clearly defined. The pleural spines are easily seen and even a portion of the tail spine is present. The trilobite has good color and contrast and is well positioned on the plate of shale. This is a very "clean and crisp" example of Olenellus sp. from the Eager Formation.
