This is an excellent specimen of Isotelus mafritzi from the Ordovician of Canada. The specimen is very inflated. Usually, the Isotelus from Canada display compression of the exoskeleton. The preservation of the exoskeleton is remarkable. This trilobite exhibits very fine detail. The eyes are very prominent. The genal spines are nicely displayed. The trilobite has great color and contrast. It is well centered on a squared plate of matrix. This is a very "clean" specimen of Isotelus from Canada.
