This is an excellent example of a very uncommon trilobite. It is a large Eudolatites sp. from the Ordovician Selenopeltis Beds of Morocco. This specimen is over six inches long - large by any standards. The detail is wonderful, especially for a trilobite preserved in sandstone. The bug is extremely inflated and 3-D, and displays beautifully on the oval matrix plate. This is a great example of this unusual type, and is easily the best specimen of Eudolatites we have ever had.
