This is a fine specimen of an unidentified trilobite from Morocco. Until more scientific work is done on the Cambrian of Morocco, we are hesitant to put a name on this specimen. This trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached, which is quite unusual for this type. The wide, sweeping genal spines are clearly defined. The fossil has excellent, limonitic orange color and contrasts beautifully with the grayish-green matrix. It is well positioned on the rectangular plate of shale. This is an excellent specimen of this Cambrian trilobite.
