This is a fine example of a very collectible trilobite. It is a Paradoxides gracilis from the Middle Cambrian of the Czech Republic. This specimen was acquired in a trade with a European dealer over ten years ago. The trilobite is quite large for the type and exhibits very good detail. Even the pygidium is intact and slightly curled downward (hard to see in photo). The inflated bug exhibits the pleural spines in nice fashion. The trilobite is beautifully displayed on a huge, natural plate of dense shale that also contains some other trilobite fragments. This is an extremely displayable specimen of this ''Old World'' trilobite.
