Here is an excellent specimen of Hunanolenus genalatus from the Cambrian of China. Both part and counterpart of this trilobite are present. It is highly unusual to find this trilobite with the free cheeks intact - most of the time they are missing. This wonderfully articulated specimen has both free cheeks present and tightly attached. This large specimen exhibits great detail and is well presented on the somewhat rectangular plate of matrix. This is a very attractive example of Hunanolenus from China.
