Here is a great example of Hsuaspis bilobata from the Lower Cambrian of Australia. We recently acquired this trilobite from an old Australian collection. This specimen is very unique in that the free cheeks are preserved and tightly attached. This is the only specimen of this trilobite with free cheeks that we have ever seen. This trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. The short genal spines are beautifully displayed and even the small pygidium is intact. The trilobite has excellent, natural color and contrast. This is a wonderful specimen of this Lower Cambrian trilobite from Kangaroo Island.
