Here is a very nice Ordovician trilobite. This is Flexicalymene retrorsa from near Cincinatti, Ohio. This trilobite is wonderfully prone and very 3-dimensionally preserved. It is extremely well articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. Every pleuron tip is intact. The bug is beautifully positioned on a large block of rock. The dark brown trilobite contrasts nicely with the gray matrix. This is a very displayable Flexicalymene from Ohio.
