Here is a very good specimen of Diacalymene ouzregui from the Ordovician of Morocco. This trilobite is preserved in a large block of concretionary matrix. Both halves of the concretion are present, so both part and counterpart of the trilobite are well displayed. Most of the time, the trilobites that are found in these concretions from Morocco are not very nicely articulated. This bug is unusually well articulated and exhibits fine detail. The dark brown trilobite contrasts nicely with the yellowish-orange matrix. It is well presented on the large block of matrix that also contains another partial trilobite (not seen in picture). This is a very fine example of Diacalymene ouzregui from the Ordovician of Morocco.
