This is a large, displayable trilobite. It is a complete Drotops megalomanicus from Morocco. Although this specimen is curled, it displays beautifully. The thick shell exoskeleton ''skin'', and the pustules on the nose and tail all have great detail. The large compound eyes are well-preserved, showcasing the individual facets wonderfully. The bug is perched on a sculpted limestone base for optimal display (natural, not composited). This is a striking example of one of the largest Phacopid trilobites known.
