Here is an excellent specimen of Ectillaenus perovalis from the Ordovician of Morocco. This trilobite was meticulously prepared in the EXTINCTIONS prep lab in Walsenburg, Colorado, as are all of our Moroccan trilobites. This trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Usually, this trilobite is preserved without the free cheeks. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached on this specimen. This bug is wonderfully outstretched and very inflated. The orangish color of the trilobite contrasts nicely with the reddish-brown matrix. It is well centered on the large, natural block. This is an outstanding example of Ectillaenus from Morocco.
