Here is a very beautiful multiple plate of professionally-prepared trilobites. These bugs are Onnia superba from the Ordovician Ktaoua Limestone of Morocco. This Trinucleid trilobite has a very inflated glabella and a cephalic brim with rows and rows of pits. The genal spines are extremely long and there is a short occipital spine emanating from the back of the cephalon. A very short, wide triangular pygidium is characteristic of this particular trilobite.
There are four excellent, complete specimens on this plate (one has the tail curled under, but it is complete). All four bugs exhibit wonderful detail. The trilobites have great natural color and contrast extremely well with the light-colored matrix. They are aesthetically spaced (natural, no compositing) on the rounded limestone block. This is a fabulous multiple display plate of the hard-to-find trilobite, Onnia superba.
