Here is a great specimen of Calymenella sp. from the Ordovician of Morocco. This bug is very 3-dimensional and almost perfectly prone. It is nicely articulated and exhibits wonderful detail. The free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The rounded, cephalic process is beautifully displayed and the extremely small eyes are easily seen. This trilobite has the dark brown exoskeleton wonderfully intact - this is quite unusual. The trilobite is nicely centered on the concretionary matrix. This is a superb example of Calymenella from the Ordovician.
