Here is a very attractive plate of Chinese trilobites. There are two nice examples of Norinia convexa on this plate of Ordovician limestone. These large trilobites are quite inflated and exhibit fine detail. Both of the bugs have the free cheeks intact which is quite unusual. The small, crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The trilobites have exceptional bluish coloration and contrast wonderfully with the dark gray matrix. They are well positioned on the almost square plate of limestone. This is a beautiful specimen of this uncommon trilobite from the Ordovician of China.
