Here is a very pretty specimen of Coronocephalina jastrowi from the Silurian of China. This type of trilobite has a very small, pustulose glabella and a huge pygidium. The bug displays some of the small, thin spines emanating from the border of the large pygidium. The fossil has wonderful yellowish color and contrasts nicely with the brownish-gray matrix. It is almost perfectly centered on the somewhat rectangular plate of matrix. This is a very good specimen of Coronocephalina from China.
