Here is a "genuine" Cambropallas telesto from the Cambrian of Morocco. This type is one of the most faked or reconstructed trilobites from Morocco. Both part and most of the counterpart of the trilobite are present although the counterpart is not pictured. This large trilobite is wonderfully complete and superbly articulated. Both free cheeks are real and tightly attached. The trilobite is somewhat 3-dimensionally preserved - the sharp ridges on the thoracic segments are easily seen. Even the tiny pygidium is intact and nicely displayed. The trilobite has wonderful orange color and contrasts beautifully with the grayish-green matrix. It is almost perfectly centered on the large oval plate. This is one of the most spectacular and displayable examples of this trilobite that we have seen.
