Here is a very impressive multiple plate of trilobites. There are three wonderful examples of Asaphus (Neoasaphus) cornutus on the large block of limestone. This specimen is from the Ordovician of Russia. All three of these bugs are almost perfectly prone and wonderfully articulated. They are extremely 3-dimensional and exhibit fine detail - and two of the trilobites are quite large. The gorgeous caramel-brown color of the bugs contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The fossils are well positioned on the large, natural plate of limestone. This is a fantastic display specimen of Asaphus (Neoasaphus) cornutus from the Ordovician.
