Here is a fantastic plate of trilobites from the Czech Republic. These are Conocoryphe sulzeri from the Middle Cambrian. There are four examples of this blind trilobite on the slab. These bugs are not just large - they are HUGE for the species. The largest one is almost four inches long - by far the largest example of this trilobite we have ever seen. The trilobites are very prone and nicely articulated. They are preserved in a 3-dimensional manner and exhibit fine detail. The bugs are well positioned on the large, natural plate of shale. And this is a natural grouping - no trilobites have been added to account for this fine assemblage. This is an absolutely spectacular plate of Conocoryphe sulzeri from this classic location.
