Here is a wonderful display specimen of trilobites from a classic "Old World" location. These trilobites are Ptychoparia striata from the Middle Cambrian of Jince, Czech Republic. The trilobites are very prone and inflated. They exhibit fine detail - even the extremely small eyes are easily seen. This specimen has been meticulously prepared to reveal the three bugs in their full glory. The fossils have nice color and contrast and are well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very appealing multiple specimen of Ptychoparia from a location that is no longer accessible.
