Here is a very pretty specimen of Paralejurus dormitzeri from the Devonian of Morocco. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully inflated and exhibits fine detail. The large eyes are very nicely preserved. Under magnification, the very tiny lenses of the compound eyes are easily seen. The pleuron tips terminate in sharp points and the "corrugated" surface of the thick exoskeleton is wonderfully displayed. The trilobite has great, natural coloration and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. It is almost perfectly centered on the block of limestone. This is a very "clean" example of Paralejurus dormitzeri from Morocco.
