Here is an extremely interesting multiple trilobite plate from the Silurian of New York. There are two specimens of Calymene niagarensis and one Dalmanites limulurus on the slab. This exquisite multiple plate of trilobites is totally natural - no trilobites have been added to this piece. On the left side of the slab are two large Calymene trilobites laying side by side. Both of these prone trilobites are very inflated and wonderfully articulated. They have excellent preservation and have been meticulously prepared in the EXTINCTIONS prep lab. On the right side of the plate is a ventral specimen of Dalmanites limulurus. This bug is also outstretched and exhibits fine detail. The genal spines and caudal spine are all easily seen. The trilobites have great color and contrast. They are well presented on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a very individualistic specimen of two different trilobites from the Rochester Shale.
