Here is an extremely rare specimen. This is a juvenile Isotelus sp. from the Bromide Formation of Oklahoma. This inflated trilobite is very prone and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached. The large protruding eyes are easily seen and the long genal spines extend to the pygidium. There is absolutely no restoration to this trilobite. The beautiful coloration is totally natural. The bug has great contrast with the tannish matrix. It is well presented on a large, natural block of limestone. This is a magnificent specimen of an unusual juvenile Isotelus trilobite from a site that is most famous for producing Homotelus.
