Here is an unusual Upper Cambrian trilobite. This is a very nice Labiostria westropi from British Columbia, Canada. This type has long pleural spines and a small "fan-tail" pygidium. This specimen is nicely articulated with both free cheeks present and tightly attached. Even the small pygidium is intact. This trilobite is very "clean" and exhibits wonderful detail. The genal spines are easily seen and the pleural spines are clearly defined. This is a very fine example of this Upper Cambrian trilobite.
