Here is a pristine Middle Cambrian trilobite. This is a large, immaculate Asaphiscus wheeleri from Utah. This specimen is wonderfully articulated and exhibits incredible detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. It seems to be 100% complete - no exoskeleton missing. The trilobite is extremely well centered on a huge, natural plate of shale. The shiny black exoskeleton of the trilobite contrasts beautifully with the gray matrix. Again, this HAS to be one of the best examples of this type ever found. It is a museum quality Asaphiscus wheeleri trilobite - you will never have to upgrade this specimen.
