Here is a very nice specimen of Yuepingia sp. from the Ordovician of China. This trilobite is wonderfully prone and very nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The well defined bug is inflated and exhibits fine detail. The crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen and the short genal spines are wonderfully displayed. The fossil is presented on a large, semi-rectangular plate of limestone. This is a very good specimen of Yuepingia from the Ordovician of China.
