Here is a very interesting trilobite from Canada. This is Housia canadensis from the Upper Cambrian. This type of trilobite has a very wide cephalic brim and an even wider pygidial brim. The trilobite is very prone and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The bug is somewhat inflated and exhibits fine detail. The greenish color of the fossil contrasts wonderfully with the grayish matrix. It is well presnted on the natural block of matrix. This is a very nice example of this unusual Upper Cambrian trilobite.
