This is an Encrinurus-like trilobite that is now being called Coronocephalus rex. This specimen comes from the Lower Silurian of China. This extremely prone trilobite is nicely inflated and is well positioned on the natural piece of matrix. The cephalon of the trilobite is covered with large pustules. The yellowish trilobite contrasts nicely with the tannish-gray matrix. This is a fine example of Coronocephalus from China.
