This is an excellent Odontopleura (Sinespinaspis) markhami trilobite from the Lower Silurian of Australia. The distinct detail of the exoskeleton is amazing - this bug has several rows of fine pustules on the thoracic segments along with tiny pleural and pygidial spines. The fossil has very nice natural color and contrast and is well showcased on the large plate of matrix. This is a very fine example of this classic Silurian Odontopleurid trilobite from Down Under.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
