This is a very collectible specimen of Redlichia (Pteroredlichia) chinensis from the Cambrian of China. This spectacular specimen was acquired from a MAJOR trilobite collection. The trilobite is quite large for the type and exhibits very fine detail. Usually these trilobites are found with the free cheeks missing - this well-articulated specimen has both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the pointed pleural spines are incredibly well preserved. The bug has very good color and contrast and is well showcased on two rectangular plates. And, remember, this is a split pair - both part and counterpart are included here together. This is a top quality example of Redlichia direct from a major collection.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
