Reedops deckeri Age: Lower Devonian Formation: Haragan Formation Location: Coal County, Oklahoma Size: Trilobite is over 2 inches long! Price:$199.00
Here is a beautiful display specimen of Reedops deckeri from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This prone trilobite is nicely inflated and exhibits excellent detail. The very fine pustules covering the thick-shelled exoskeleton are intact, and the individual lenses of BOTH large, compound eyes are nearly perfect. The caramel-colored bug contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The fossil is beautifully positioned on the large block of limestone that is somewhat weathered on the back side. This is an outstanding display specimen of this classic Phacopid trilobite.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
