Name:
Cheirurus (Crotalocephalina) gibbus, Reedops sp. Age: Devonian Formation: AM Limestone Location: Morocco Size: Crotalocephalina is 1.7 inches long Price:$399.00
This is an unusual pair of trilobites from the Devonian of Morocco. An extremely 3-dimensional Cheirurus (Crotalocephalina) gibbus is well displayed on the block of limestone. This trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. A complete, enrolled Reedops sp. is also showcased on the plate. This clearly-defined trilobite also has fine detail preserved, including the compound faceted eyes. Both bugs are completely natural to the plate - they have not been composited or altered. This is a rare example of two natural, distinct trilobites that complement each other beautifully.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
